Today there are paranormal groups and paranormal investigators scattered across the world, some professional, some not. However they all do the same thing,sit in the dark at a haunted property and hope to witness some ghostly activity.But how did this ghost hunting interest start?
Well it was all down to two young girls, these two girls claimed to speak to the dead, even tho it was all revealed 40 years later that fakery was involved.By this point no one cared, they were so interested in the possible existence of ghosts that they didn't bat an eyelid! The first every paranormal group was a society with a small number of people devoted to looking for ghosts, this society was based at Cambridge University in 1851. Eleven years later the famous London Ghost Club formed . This club had many famous members including Charles Dickens, Sir William Fletcher, William Crookes and well know ghost hunter Harry Price.After this club was formed many other clubs were made too, this was how paranormal investigating began.
