'Creepy unexplained happenings'
This City shop is situated on Hereford's High Street and is stood next to All Saints church , the building has a few ghost stories that are very eerie. One evening when no one else was in the shop somebody saw a dark figure in the basement and on another occasion there was two members of staff in the building and the fire drill was set off by unseen hands, the store was checked immediately and no one else was present in the building at the time of the incident. If this is the work of ghosts then it is not surprising has the building has been around for quite a long time and has had different uses. In 1879 this building was two different shops, a Thomas Frederick Hawkins was a Printer and Stationer and a Mrs. Harriet Reeves was a Watchmaker. The place was also Marks and Spencer in 1934.
