I decide to do this page as many people have been asking how and why my passion for the paranormal started and why I penned all the stories,well........I was born and bred in Hereford and I have been interested in ghosts and hauntings since I can remember. I first saw a ghost at the age of 4 when I lived in a haunted Herefordshire farmhouse. The ghost I saw was a Victorian lady then I saw another ghost at the age of 8 years old, but I am still confused today about what I saw. One night my family had a get together and my mum, dad, auntie and uncle all done an Ouija board, I was upstairs asleep. Whilst they were on the board a evil spirit came through and started to spell out threats, my mum's arm also got grabbed by unseen hands.
Later on that night everyone went to bed, my dad woke up in the middle of the night and saw a jet black tall figure stood at the end of the bed,he got up and turned the light on, as the light switch went on the black figure shot through the wall and I saw it at the end of my bed.My room was fairly bright from the street lights but I could easily see this tall black figure, I couldn't see its face either. I screamed and mum and dad came into the room, when they opened the door the 'thing' vanished. The next day my dad burnt the home made board. People may think I am mad but I am not, I know what I saw. And this 'thing' was seen by my dad and me. After I saw this I started reading my dad's ghost books and that was when my passion for the paranormal began.
From the age of 8 I began reading ghost stories, my parents would regulary take me to haunted castles and I started to ask around for ghost stories in Hereford. The very first time I went out ghost hunting was with my dad at the age of 14, he regulary took me to haunted spots around Hereford. After this I found that I was interested in the investigating part of it too. Im 23 now but over the last 5 years I have been doing investigations, a few with a local group and others on my own. I have also written over 50 stories on Hereford, I started writing these stories in 2005.
I sat down and thought one day that what Hereford was really lacking was a good informative website about the City's ghosts, we have so many tourists here and so many people that are interested in ghostly tales of Hereford and sadly there is nothing in Hereford about its ghosts, not even a book. So after spending so long collecting,researching and writing Hereford ghost stories I thought that they should be put on a website for people to read. I still continue to collect and write stories and I also do my own paranormal investigations with OJ Watts.
