This resource has been compiled by paranormal investigator Natalie Lawrence as a guide to the Ghosts of Hereford.
Many people know Hereford as an historical and ancient city, but few of them realise that there are so many ghost stories here.
I have been collecting Hereford's ghost stories for over 10 years, but I continue to come across so many stories that I was unaware of and I have now uncovered a side to Hereford that I hope will prove as fascinating to you as it has to me.
Many of the stories on this website were collected by myself between mid-2005 and late 2006. I uncovered the locations by walking and driving round going into places and asking the simple question "excuse me have you got a ghost?" I must confess I did get some strange looks and one owner of a pub actually thought I was drunk! But I also made some great discoveries and as result am able to put on this website ghost stories and Hereford hauntings that have never been in print nor appeared in any books.
I have discovered that almost every public house and historic building has a ghost story to share. Hereford city has a lot of remarkable history and even more that lies hidden both around and beneath the outstanding and beautiful countryside that surrounds it.
With so many years of love and betrayal, conflict and honour and with such a history of lives lost over time, is it really any wonder that this city is so haunted?
